I've always had a die-hard passion for alpine skiing, a dream that didn’t materialize until I was 30 years old in the picturesque town of Quechee, VT. As the only adult among toddlers zooming confidently down the bunny slopes, I realized something crucial: Time is running out.

That day on the shallow slopes, struggling while kids glided effortlessly past, it hit me. If I wanted to ski amazing destinations in my lifetime, I had to devote myself to the sport and embrace the learning curve fiercely. Skiing, much like any complex skill, isn’t naturally picked up in adulthood. It demands dedication, time, and resources.

Parallel to Love

This journey mirrors the bumps we face in love. In skiing, as in relationships, there’s a finite number of bumps you can handle before your knees give out. Each challenge in a relationship is an opportunity to learn and grow. Yet, many of us delay addressing these issues, thinking we'll get around to it "someday."
